2025 Grand Coddiwomple registration now open

I've got a question... maybe one of you can answer this one: Does the bike in our pictures have to be a BMW? I know, seems obvious, BMWMOA and all, but a buddy and I have a long multi-day ride planned for later this year and I'm not going to ride any of the older BMWs but take the new HD instead. We will have a few challenge photo-opps along the way that would be nice to grab. I know I can always use my face/flag combination, but how about my HD/flag combination? I think the rules just state "your bike and your flag".

Any bike brand is fine. You just have to be a member of BMWMOA. Furthermore, you do not have to have the bike in the pic. Your face and flag works just the same.

ttacke nailed it. The bike just has to be "yours" if it is in the pic. The rules state that the target and "your bike* and your flag, your bike and your face, or your flag and your face" need to be in the picture.

* And since you have to be a member to register and get a flag, it doesn't really matter what bike it is.

OM, Just checked my email when I got the notice of your reply to this thread and apparently I am now registered despite the website page saying try again later. Hopefully I'm not registered 3 times as I kept "coming back later" . Now to try and download the rules and challenges. And start collecting proofs once I get my flag.

Does not have to be a BMW, I used one of my KTM's for a lot of the first one. I missed the earlier reply and I wish I'd known I could have used my face instead of my flag I would have gone out last week. Oh well.

Remember, once accepted and set up on the Coddiwomple Riders Portal and if you want, you can start before getting your flag as long as you can get your face and the bike in the picture.

You'll get it and have a ton of fun!! If you go to the home page and select Ride Inspired, click on Grand Coddiwomple, it will take you to the link of the rider portal.
