How is your weather today?

35.6* and another raw day. It has been some form of rain the last 10 out of 11 days.
Still doing better than the poor folks down south.

Currently 58*F and the fog is burning off. An easy commute, with no fog adhering to the face shield.

27*. The barn roof has frost. The grass (weeds) is crunchy. I think, due to the past, easy, winters, I had the bikes inspected in February. 🥶❄️🤷‍♂️

23.9*? Seems 🥶 for April.
Probably good news for the people of Rogue Island as it’s like natural refrigeration-

A new state regulation allows people to harvest certain wild animals killed by cars on the road.

A new Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) rule that took effect March 25 allows motorists to collect animals killed in vehicular accidents as long as they apply for a retroactive permit within 24 hours. One permit applies to one animal.

Carcasses of animals permitted for salvage are white-tailed deer, turkeys, beavers, coyotes, muskrats, pheasants, squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, woodchucks and mute swans.
😳
Pot Luck! :eat

Foggy morning quickly burning away, currently 58 with a high of 76 predicted. Made for a pleasant commute to the office except for the ID10T who decided to start turning left across my path where I was planning on turning left... and then stopped and sat there blocking every direction (he'd been at a stop sign.)

And….a dusting of snow ❄️ was found this morning. Been a while since that has happened. 33.3* with the 4th weekend in a row rolling damp and dreary. 🙁

37* with rain mixed with snow. Had hoped to be able to get out and ride some before heading to START in Blairsville GA next Saturday for a week of twisty road riding in the mountains. Update @ 6:35 AM, temperature dropped and it's now snowing with gusto!
🥶👎

Gonna be 70 ish today, near 80 tomorrow and Monday. The sun is high enough that the shady, mossy roads on the north sides of hills are drying out.

I might ride the R100 down to Marin for a car show thing, but it’s a pretty boring highway ride down 101, so I’m vacillating.

From a friend a bit north of me-

I have a feeling that from this, we will go to hot and humid.
If this extended cold helps kill off the black flies and ticks, I can only hope.

I'm tired, boss.

36.5* currently with drizzle making for another dreary day. It is now the 4th weekend in a row of rainy conditions.
Doing better the Worcester MA, about 44 miles west of Boston as they received 8” of snow yesterday messing up a lot of outside activities- from driving to kids sports. ❄️🥶
