-2* here in the northeast today. 5” snow yesterday.
We have a pretty easy winters the past couple of years so I guess we are receiving a little reminder of winter in the Northeast.

But- snow along the Gulf Coast? Can’t picture that is going to be any fun.

How is your weather today?

Currently -21C (-4 F) in my city in SW Ontario.

I just put the garbage out for pickup. Cold but certainly not unbearable for those of us who were accustomed to temperatures like this when we were kids.

-14 F at 7:20 AM in town. Radio station at edge of town and airport 2 miles south was -17 F.
Sunny and light wind.

Typical SoCal late January...

Bike is in the office garage after a short morning commute. Thermal liner of the jacket will be coming out before heading home.

15F, thirty miles from Mexico in SW Texas Big Bend. No precipitation. Houston is getting snow; so is/will New Orleans. I expect some trouble there. I still recall December of 1972 when Roanoke Rapids, NC received about two inches of snow. The roadway carnage among drivers with no experience, driving on snow with balding tires was epic. I just stayed on the Air Force Radar Site and observed the world condition from a safe distance.

Low of 35F to a high of 58F with clear sky's in Walnut Creek, CA (San Francisco East Bay). No rain forecasted into the near future. Should be similar all week. Looking forward to a ride to Half Moon Bay on Sunday.

Yesterday it was -33c -46c with the wind chill…-50.8f with the wind chill
It has warmed up a bit today..right now it’s 19c..-33c with the wind chill.

-17 this morning here in the Minneapolis/St Paul southern burbs.
Warming up to -5 this afternoon.
Where's my sunscreen?

Might be 17f degrees here in Charlotte NC in the morning. It's been a lot colder here this winter. My December heating gas bill last year was $55. This years December bill was $220. Part of the reason for the increase is because in a mild winter is I don't use the upstairs furnace but this year I have had it on all winter so my two bathrooms with plumbing on the outside walls don't freeze.

Currently 4.5 degrees F where we are in Asheville, NC. Coldest this Florida man has been since he was in junior high school. Had to relearn how to maintain a wood stove.
