Winnipeg - What to do for a day trip?

We are planning on a day trip to Winnipeg Manitoba in August. Any suggested stops or what to do in Winnipeg would be appreciated. We are starting out in the Grand Forks, ND area. We will be visiting family in the North Dakota and Minnesota on the way to CCR and thought it would be fun to drive up to Winnipeg. We would appreciate any ideas.

Take a dinner cruise on the river boat.

At least that's what we did in 1975. :)

VJ's has been voted the best burger in the city, the past 6 years.Outside seating only, park yer scoot next to a picnic table, and have at it.

Backroader lives in Winnipeg. You might want to send him a PM.

By August, I would think it would be warm enough there, for riding.:laugh
