what brand coolant?

What brand coolant are you using? and, if not BMW, why did you choose it over the BMW recommended brand? I have an older mercedes and use a Zerex brand coolant, it has the required additives to make the mercedes engine happy, w/o the proper additives the coolant or something, eats away the gaskets and causes problems in the water jackets, VERY expensive problems. So expensive that you would never knowingly use the wrong stuff! So that is the basis of my question.
The bike currently has a blue colored coolant.

I use Prestone silicate free with no issues. It meets the spec and works for me.

I recently repaired my water pump and I ended up putting Honda Pro Coolant in my bike.
