watching on NBCSN and watching the BMW RT's mostly doing the filming, don't know if they use other brands or not.
 
Over the years I’ve seen more GS bikes than RTs, but that may have changed. The GS with no panniers seemed to be a favorite mount for camera operators who wanted to sit backwards on the bike and have their pilot run the bike ahead of the peloton.
