Tank bag for R1100RT - Trying to find one

I have a new-to-me 97 R1100RT. I am looking for a tank bag for this bike, but everything I am finding is for the newer RT's. I am really at a loss on how to attach a tank bag to this bike.
Any help is appreciated!

I've had the same problem finding one for my 2000RT. I hope you find one.

Instead of "that" company, I would rather go with the Big Mak. It mounts to the gas cap trim and flips up to refuel. I think Cycle Gadgets have them and they have been out long enough plenty of used ones are out there.

Just bought one from Cyclegadget and road/weather tested this morning. It's well made, wont scratch the tank, comes with rain cover. I've had BMW, Cortech, a few other forgettable ones, and I recommend this one.
I bought the smallest one on the website and it is perfect. I cant imagine what that biggest one must be able to hold.

I bot a Motofizz from Aerostich. 2 sizes to chose from that fasten to the gas cap ring.

Marsee has a couple that even look better for a 1100RT. I'd probably go with one of these if I were going to do it again. Looks like they may attach and detach more quickly.

I have a BMW tank bag from a 1997 R1100RT. Close enough? It attaches simply enough, as I recall. I replaced it a few years ago with a larger one. Let me know if you're still looking for one.

Your bike is a '97 but the "tank" bodywork was the same through 2004 and that isn't very old and it's likely the BMW tank bag (from BMW dealer) is still available.
Back before BMW offered tankbags I had a Harro, but since then I've only ever considered tankbags made for the particular BMW I owned. All "universal" means is doesn't fit anything particularly well.
