Rallye Jacket?

Hello, Hive Mind!

I am need of a new riding jacket. Seriously considering the BMW Rallye jacket. I would like to know about the venting. Without the liner, does the shell have adequate venting for summertime use? I commute daily in Vegas which isn't as bad as it sounds, provided I have plenty of vents on my jacket.

Opinions?

Hi - Vegas person here.
I ditched my Klim Badlands and went with the Rallye when I moved here.
It's the way to go.

Word on the jacket liner. It's garbage. When worn on the inside it was so harsh on my neck that within a couple of hours it drew blood.

For the combination of armor and ventilation in our heat I couldn't find anything even close to the Rallye kit.

If you don't know about cooling vests and wristbands, go do a search. If your commute is under 30 minutes it will feel like air conditioning when you're moving. Naturally being stopped at the 10 minute long lights sucks no matter what you do.

For liners I use the Rukka fleece jacket in the winters with the Rukka Outlast one piece baselayer.
For rain I use the BMW one piece rain suit.
