R18B owners feedback

Always be ready to walk away from anything. If you can't, at least be honest without yourself as to why and accept it.

R18C here

Really had to jump on the deal as well. Just sold a HD to a friend so thought I was down to one bike ('22 R1250 GSA). That didn't last long, but I do enjoy the torquey cruiser aspect of the R18. Got the Mustang seat thrown in at price and I think that really helps comfort wise. Ordered Vance&Hines pipes but won't see them until the end of October so the accessory market will have to catch up I hope? Been a bit warm here in AZ so just get it out on weekends and still ride the GS daily though....R18C.jpg

25 year MOA member, Riding since age 12. Originally came to the dark side in 95 with an R80/7 (a perfectly wonderful bike--all it needed was a new BMW), Rebuilt everything except the transmission . A disciple of the Late, Great Keith Patchett (MOA # 981). Not wanting to miss an opportunity to do something stupid, I bought an S1000XR in November which used to take delight in spitting me off in low speed maneuvers. Geometry was just plain wrong for a Geezer; such as myself. Today I took home a 2022 R18B and looking forward to many good miles. Any insight, tips or death threats welcome.
Godspeed, 3 hawks

Bought a 22 r18B, Service loaner with 2k on it. It is 89 miles from my house to the dealer; rode it home the long way around; about 160 miles. Mileage in the low 50s if ridden gently; overall average 45mpg. Love the torque. Shift levers need work. mine is Black Storm Metallic with the pinstripes. I personally do NOT find the wonderwheel user friendly. Can't for the life of me figure how to set/reset the odometer. essentially need a tutorial on the wonderwheel and the whole damn TFT business. Love the gauges and clutch/brake levers. Have already ordered the large windscreen. Came off an S1000xr which was a case of Geezer Insanity. Hated that bike which was always trying to spit me off at low speeds; Essentially it is a young man's bike. Any thoughts, feedback, tips or death threats welcome. Any R18 riders in N.E. PA?

Any owner have a top 3 and bottom 3 list related to your R18B ownership? It is a sweet ride to look at though reviews and my gut makes me feel this is another r1200cl model (somewhat). Don't mean any disrespect to current owners, and I did own a r1200clc prior. I did ride the R18 when released though did not like it (maybe due in part to limited rear suspension travel plus limited foot space due to the 'big jugs'.

Ride safe all
Take a Bagger or TC for a good long ride. The R 1200clc was a bust, however they got it right with the R18
