R1100R handlebar conversion

I have a 2001 R1100R anniversary model and absolutely love my machine. I wanted to know if anyone has done a handlebar conversion to low bars. I saw an after-market product that allows any tubular bar. Any thoughts would be awesome.

Was this the model that had the bank of switches on top of the triple clamp in between the handlebars? I think most of the available kits won't work on that model.

You may be able to do something custom. Call Terry at Suburban Machinery in Owners News. He does nice custom work and doesn't charge a lot for it.
