Shield Ideas for a new to me 1995 R1100R

I am planning on picking up a 1995 R1100R next week for a 1500 mile fly & ride. The bike currently doesn't have a shield. I was hoping it would be a fairly simple matter of mocking something up, but the non-tubular, rectangular handlebars are proving a bit of a challenge. My previous 1997 R1100R had a BMW shield and I liked it. Not finding much that could be here in time right now. Anyone have ideas for a quick shield fix? All that typed, it's not the end of the world to go without, but if there are any ideas, I'd love to hear them!
