Ohlins Shock

Has anyone replaced the OEM shock with an Ohlins on a F800ST? Has anyone had this done at the rally? If so, what sort of cost was involved for parts and labour? I am considering this for Redmond. Cheers!

I just had an Ohlins shock put on my 800S; the original was leaking at 68,000 miles. They charged me 25 minutes labor; the shock was $871 and with tax and a t shirt the bill was $990.

I replaced both shocks on my 1150gs with Ohlins at about 24k miles and it was a very noticeable improvement in handling and ride quality.

I just replaced the stock shock with an Ohlins on my F800GS at 7k miles, haven't had a chance to test it much yet, but am expecting improvements both on and off road.
