Lightweight Boots

I am interested in purchasing a pair of lightweight boots. I have a pair of BMW boots that I used on longer rides. They are good boots, but I like having something smaller and lighter for local rides and walking around stores/outdoors. I do not need waterproof as these will be used on shorter casual rides. Some mesh/airflow would be nice too. I am replacing a set of ancient Bates boots that are 8", but lightweight, mesh, have a side zipper and are comfortable on the bike or walking. Any suggestions for a lightweight boot will be appreciated.

BMW makes sort of a riding sneaker...covers the ankle and has some protection. Available waterproof...or not. Had mine for a while- very comfy and with some decent protection

Check the Atai boots. Lightweight, waterproof.

Been wearing mine for a year, walk all day, ride all day in comfort.
