First BMW

After being out of riding for several years, I recently bought a very lightly used 2009 R1200RT.

Just returned from a weeklong trip to Tennesee, NC, Ga. etc....man do I love this bike!

Welcome to the forum! I'm sure the other Hexhead/Camhead owners would love to see your ride. Check out the picture section in that forum farther down the board.

You, my man, have purchased one of the finer long distance machines on this planet!

Welcome and greetings from the Great White North, I have the same ride. Great bike, no issues so far. Of all the bikes I've owned the RT has quickly become my favourite. Given a little time I think you will agree. All the best and keep the shiny side up.
