Still plays with trains.
I have deleted my original rant. It has caused far more trouble and hard feelings than it was worth or I ever expected.

Howdy Tiny Trains
IF you do ever go back to Del Amo, can you check to see if my brake pads for my
'86 honda xl250 ever came in. 4 years ago I also pre-paid for my special order...
After 2 visits and many, many calls-I just chalked it up to business as usual for
that dealership. Got my pads online, the next day!
$4 seems reasonable for a special order
They were very nice and helped figure out what I wanted and what size.

For $4 it appears to me you may be cutting of your nose to spite your face when you say you will not be going back. The other way this could have gone is that you guessed at the size, ordered online, paid more than $4 for shipping, the pants did not fit, paid shipping to return.......
I was gonna tend toward a flame response, but since this is a club forum, I'll be polite...
With a POV as a retailer in another industry, I can say, don't forget how pss'd off you would be if a customer came into your store, you spent time helping him fit a helmet [for example], he didn't buy it, and then showed back up a week later looking for another item and wearing the helmet you helped him decide on, which he then purchased on-line...
The cheapest thing on a BMW.......
So much for keeping it civil...
TT, I think all of us, even those that have disagreed with you to some extent like me, can identify with the frustration you felt. While I take a different view of the situation I can tell you are a great guy because of your avatar.........................
Anyone who has a gray R12R must be an A-one guy!!!
I apologize if I came off sounding like a cheapskate.
