+1. My cables have the raised ridges that line up. I have no problem finding them with my summer gloves or my BMW winter gloves. Just takes a bit of practice.
Even with heavy gloves, I roll the connectors lightly against each other and feel the index as they line up...then push together. Took some getting used to,but now it's easy. Dark, rainy,whatever.
We only use the Autocomm set up on long trips, no need or want of Bluetooth daily being retired
