Exciting New GS-911 Software Update – Available from 28 May*!

We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new software update for the HEX GS-911, packed with brilliant new features and improvements for BMW motorcycle owners and workshops.

The update will be available from Wednesday, *28 May 2025 for ProUnlimited subscribers, and will roll out to all GS-911 users from Thursday, 5 June 2025.

This release includes long-requested coding options, handy new service functions, and wider model support – all designed to help you get the most from your BMW bike.

I just received the same email overnight. Interesting they waited until June 5 to announce an update available from May 28. Nevertheless I'm pleased to be getting the update. (y)

They hype the early access as a bonus for the more costly subscription model I presume. I see no harm in it nor do I see much advantage either which is why I am an Enthusiast.

At some point I guess I will catch the wave and git and old one for the F800GS. No rush as the service light has been on for 10 years or so when a servicing dealer didn’t think I would want to change/update it. 🙄 :brad

The Pro/Unlimited subscribers are more likely to try all the new features sooner (or almost immediately) and therefore be able to provide feedback from a smaller pool of users, allowing some last minute fixes to be possible before the update goes out to everyone.

It also allows those that use it professionally to be able to get the update more smoothly, as if released to everyone at once, those that rely on it for business use might have to "wait in line" and be unable to operate as a business until they are able to complete the update.
