Wilbers shock...what do the numbers mean?

oldnslow

It's a way of life!
What do these numbers on the spring of a Wilbers rear shock mean? 59/59-170-165 and would that shock be suitable for a 225 pound rider and his 150 pound pillion?

From what bike did this shock come? If it was similar to what you're riding, I'd install it and see how well it works. But that's me. :scratch
