Where is Blue Knight?

I'm still here. I didn't have anything of relevance to contribute to the board and I didn't spend much time at the computer. Too busy riding and gardening.

We're taking off tomorrow morning for our vacation which will take us through Lake Placid, Mount Washington Valley, Nova Scotia and New-Brunswick with a stay in Qu?®bec City before returning home.

I'll have a ride report and plenty of pictures when we get back in three weeks.

Thanks for the thoughts!

Mike

You have more self control than most of us!

Enjoy! Love the Adirondacks! There is a great roadside Bar-B-Q between Placid and Saranac. Lotsa french-canadian waitress' for the summer, too.

Have a great time on your vacation! We want a ride report and pictures! :wave

Expect to see scenery like this. I was there last weekend and it was lovely.

Ausable River?

That looks like the Ausable River to me! Reminds me of 1983 and the National, my first, rally. What a thrill to ride through those mountains. Seems I remember a huge gorge on that ride. I stopped and walked back on the bridge and gasped when I looked down. What a sight!! :wow Thanks for the memories.

Very good guess.

Is that Rt 73 outside Keene, NY?

I believe that is Rte 86, between Lake Placid and Wilmington, so that would be Whiteface Mtn. on the left. Rte 86 follows the river through there.
