not here to insult anyone. well almost not anyone, but definitely not you.
Though I like to joke a lot so pls take it the manner intended. Im like food under socialism; not everybodys gonna get it.

it was a goofy dig at chiltons, I remember bashing the old Classics even back when I'd hide from my kgarden teacher in the library stacks reading chiltons that covered 15 years of 4 models , and vaguely.
and the haynes that tried to become at one with model.

re reading, I can see how my post was a pretty scattered shot that flakked you unnecessarily . sorry , but kindof lol too .
I mean by any usual metric, you are a much more accomplished Airhead than me. (dang it there i go again with the complimentary insults

I post for merely for fun & info while figguring out this bike , with lota of help from the site.
There is quite a undercurrent of " nothing new under the sun" here that is no-nevermind-to-me, a little amusing & natural maybe when talking over antiques with the stalwarts
