I for one would like to know what he did and why he was banned. I think it's not to much to know what he did wrong, if indeed he was banned for some post.
I agree with rgvilla, this can be a learning opportunity for all of us.
I enjoyed the back and forth in the 1st/2nd amendment thread. I didn't see anything over the line, and for the most part it was allowed to go on. I didn't necessarily appreciate the mods threats (to shut it down), but if that's their thing then so be it.

I rarely see the need for forum moderation and post editing, but it is what it is. I suppose if I want to see the juicy stuff I can always turn over to advrider.
If what RatSnake says is true, I don't think any one should be censored for disagreeing with the rules. Assuming he was not bashing the makers of the rules.

In case you guys aren't paying attention, you gotta step WAY over the line to get banned. As far as I know that ALWAYS includes a warning first. I don't know what he did, but I strongly suspect he deserved it unless somebody can show me otherwise. There's not a lot you can't say here unless you're totally socially unacceptable and rude and crude.
