Voltage Regulator Setting

How much is too much? I just replaced the brushes on the charging system of my 1984 R100. It has a new adjustable voltage regulator. It was set to limit the voltage to about 13.9-14.0 volts. I adjusted the setting and it is now maxing out at 14.4 volts. The battery is a sealed AGM.

Is 14.4-14.5 volts okay to run with?

I think AGM's like the higher charging voltage. Check the manufacturer's web site for the proper charging of that battery, or at least AGM's in general, but I think you're good.

it should be fine. I have my VR set to the same value and been running the same AGM battery for about five years now with zero issues.
