Trouble-shooting heated grips

Working to diagnose a non-responsive right heated grip on a 2007 R1200GSA. Went through all the usual stuff and traced the open circuit to the connector between the right-hand handlebar harness and the heated grip harness. Meaning that I'm getting power from the bike to the male connector and I have continuity in the grip-side female connector. I can see some alignment features on the inside of the female connector and close examination shows that the male connector (bike side) was broken previously (I'm not the first owner). I suspect that the pins aren't making contact since the alignment guides are broken off as well as the sockets (see pics).

a.) Can someone confirm that the male side of the connector is supposed to have some sockets and guide slots?
b.) Where can I find one of these connectors so I don't have to rip the whole harness out?
c.) Am I missing something?

TIA
