Kind of makes the Harley adventure tourer look…. Well.. Normal.Well it is hereView attachment 98346
Interesting read, tho I I’ve not heard much from the head of Motorrad in other moto publications. BTW, the posted link is http and not https, which does work for that site. I couldn’t get in until I changed the link. From the latest edition of Moto EMag:
“BMW got it right with the new R1300GS Adventure, and I have a feeling that a redesign of the regular 13GS may be in the works. But don’t ask me to get excited, since I am not a fan of the boxer engine, which has now been stretched so far from its original purpose that it makes the late Joan Rivers look like Saint Theresa. “
Further down in the article he also discusses the new boss at BMW Motorrad:
“BMW Motorcycles' Delusions of Grandeur and Napoleon Complex--Why BMW Motorcycles will Always be an Underdog
BMW Motorcycles has a new boss…The new guy has made 3 statements that do not make sense to me and show great naivete about motorcycles and the lifestyle.”
Don't like the Lego looks or the lack of a tubular steel frame. One review said the frame was changed because it is felt by BMW that the bike will be primarily used for long road trips. A huge fail in my opinion. Hope it is short lived.Well it is hereView attachment 98346
Do you have a link?"From the latest edition of Moto EMag:"
An Online MotoMag whose content is completely 100% negative. Hope this guy doesn't plan on making (much of) a living doing this.
So, who exactly is Moto-emag?? He is supposedly a "BMW historian" who made numerous K bike presentations at BMW MOA Rallies, but I can't make a connection. Does anybody know who this person is.This one?
