Sparkplug firing

I was wondering if the Oilheads are like the airheads where the ignition system fires both plugs at the same time even though one is on the exhaust stroke. Since there is only one trigger I figure it is the same or does the motronic unit cause it to behave like an auto distributor?

Yes, both plugs are in series with the coil and use ground as the return.

Thanks all, I figured as much. I am receiving the inductive tach today, needed to know what to tell the unit about the motor, guess a single cylinder 4 stroke would be as close as anything to what is happening.
