So, I am seriously looking to trade up from my 2017 GSA and buy a new 2024 GSA. Because there is no BMW Service Manual available, how do you do your own service on the 1250's?
For example, I have the BMW tools to do the cam timing on the 1200 and saw a recent post where someone was discussing the different spacer required (for the cam chain tensioner tool) and the different cam alignment tool required. How did they know different tools were required and how would you know other necessary data, like torque settings (for all kinds of service requirements) and valve clearances, etc?
I had assumed that most service stuff would be the same as whats covered in my 2017 manuals and books - is this the case?
