If finally happened. I Put th bike down. I got off easy from what I have read here. I usually put in low seat with I am in areas of such unpredictable surfaces and got lazy. (I'm inseam challenged) I order plastic cover. I have the wunderlich engine protectors coming next week and I am fix the engine cover with some gentle sanding and some paint. I have seen too many options in forums to be sure. I have a 2022 black bike. I think all the engines have a basic color. This is that gray which I think it #963 at colorrite, but can't seem to get confirmation.

I just need to cover the shiny silver and the bars will do the rest.

Thanks,

Pat

Colorite shows 963 is Granite Grey.

The BMW parts fiche shows the head covers are Agate Grey which is darker than Granite Grey.
