Here we go again!
Bought a new R100Rt in 84. First year we put 9600 miles on. In 85 we did a single 10,400 mile trip, 33 states and 3 providences of Canada. Might have done 15,000 miles total that year. The next two years were about 12,000 for both year, no more. Sold the bike after I had a shoulder injury. I feel better now. I am buying a new R1200RT this week. Looking forward to getting back in the saddle. I am glad to be back.

You are not "old", you are an "experienced rider" like the rest of us.

Sounds like you enjoy making some serious miles. Looking forward to reading your ride reports.
