Don't most helo's have an autorotate feature so they can "glide" to earth when there is an engine failure ? The Army Huey's I flew in did.

Interesting photo. Lost an engine on a 1946 Ercoupe at 10,000+ feet after an annual inspection due to a simple (read STUPID) mechanic's error. It was a long glide down! Ill be checking that window for seepage as well as oil level from now on!
