MOAL 2nd Sat R-2-E; 10Feb24

I’m inviting everyone in/around AL to ride or drive to the Feb 2nd Saturday Ride-2-Eat coming to Guntersville on 10Feb24. The HSV contingent will depart the Murphy’s USA station on south Parkway NLT 0900 in order to wander southward on county roads to arrive at the Rock House Eatery ~1100. P&K test-rode the route and made some adjustments due to Garmin trying to send us down a few farm roads - wouldn’t be prudent! Note that the Eatery is at 1201 Gunter Street at the corner on Loveless St. Our lunch was very tasty. Note, they prefer cash; they do pass the CC-surcharge on to their visitors! - Check out their online menu here:

An RSVP to phil.ager@verizon.net by 9Feb would allow me to inform the restaurant about our contingent - We did, after all, have 19 hungry MOAL enthusiasts appear in Gadsden last month! Current forecast says it’ll be warmer and maybe wetter than our R2E in January.

Hope to see ya in eight days in Guntersville!
Ciao! Phil & Karen

Jus sayin, MOA made me convert my Garmin_gpx file into a Zip file...

See if U can unpack it if ya wanna see where I'll be leading my herd of peeps.

Well I'm happy to say the weather cooperated for our X-country jaunt thru hill & dale to reach Guntersville before 1100. All in all, we had a dozen participants including seven Bikers {when the weather prognosticators forecasted a lot of rain for Sat-Sun-Mon]. We conquered some crumbly county roads along the way up and down some challenging narrow back roads, but everyone made it without any difficulty! Yeah for them & me too! Headed to Beans and Greens in Ballplay, AL for March's 2nd Saturday R2E... :eat :thumb >>>> https://www.facebook.com/BeansandGreensBuffet/ <<<<
