How many posts does one need to get a simple reply to a simple question? Am I doing somethng wrong?

Here is a one minute video of my menu system both with engine running and not.

If I'm stupid tell me so, just don't ignore me as I am new to the BMW world.

Thank you.

I don't have a RT so my menu is different, so I can't help.
With the Holiday weekend people were probably not on the forum much.
Someone will come along and help.

I don't think you are.

Under Vehicle Settings mine only has:

-Alarm System (with several options related to the alarm)
-Shift Indicator (ON or OFF)

I assume yours does not have the alarm system.

Enjoy your new bike!

I think this is normal as I have the same. '16 RT LC. I don't have the alarm system so no option is as expected.

I don't know where you got that list, not sure if it applies to our bikes. Are you sure this is for a '16 RT?
It looks like an EU spec bike list of options. I don't know what the Headlight righthand/lefthand traffic and Ground light would be for. :scratch

EU bikes with Headlight Pro have an extra button to switch the headlight on or off during daytime. By default the headlight is off and only the halos are on. So I expect a menu option is available to change the default.

Changing the aim when riding on left side of road.
Not familiar with the ground light term, maybe it's the parking bulb.

Thinking about it, maybe it's to set the default headlight failure mode. ie If the headlight fails, the righthand or lefthand high turn on.

Thanks everyone. The dealer where I bouth the used bike gave me a quick ref card and audio system manual. Looking at the date on the card now I see 08.2013.

I am enjoying the bike, but compared to my big loud and slow Harley, this thing is quick and smooth and quiet, so I got a ticket (warning) coming out of a little village. 64 in a 55 (10% over is a ticket). So now working on getting my Escort detector hooked up. Not for high speed, but for stupid me sometimes.
