Lubricate the Fuel Injected Engine after the bike has been sitting all winter

Another “oil” thread?

Still, it gives us something to talk about, and oil film failure HAS been an issue on some BMW cam lobes and followers.
 
How much raw fuel do you think will be "dumped" in the CAT if cranking only for a few seconds?
A gallon? A pint? A tablespoon? A teaspoon? A few mL?
I suppose you could always disconnect the fuel pump...

What problem(s) will this cause?
I would not worry about the cat but if the injectors are firing you are washing the cylinders with fuel which is worse than just starting it up.
