low idle and gas tank vacuum

Thanks for the info about the vacuum caps. I'll try to get an assortment. I will have to look at the chain auto parts store since the BMW shop is on the other side of town and I can't get up there today.

The canister is off, the nipples are capped, the rubber tubes are removed and/or rerouted. I'll put the bike back together this evening and give it a ride. I'm off to watch practice laps for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix for the afternoon.
