poor idle low speed performance

Did the shop change the sparkplugs as part of the tune-up? There are some counterfeit ones out there...
Also check their gap, 0.031" if I recall correctly.
And if they're Bosch, try the NGK or Autolite equivalent instead.
Has the idle adjust (big brass) screw ever been pulled and cleaned? And its passageway too.
Dealers are required to set the valves to the factory spec... perhaps they're a little tight.
 
Good news picked it up from the shop yesterday, the culprit was a defective hall effect sensor, also replaced both ignition coils. A few less things to go wrong when I'm out in the middle of nowhere. Bad news $$$$$$
