I have a 2014 BMW G650GS. I noticed with my after market (cortech) tail bag can cover the blinkers.

Should have been more clear. The BMW/Giant loop. etcc.. is not in the budget. My daughters are getting into street bike riding after riding off-road for many years, the $$$ following to make sure their safe.
Three reasons for the integrated taillight is that I need to add saddlebags as well for a five day ride from Portland, OR to Laguna Seca; FIM World Superbike Championship in July. AND the integrated lighting looks nice and clean.
