I Like Personalized Plates

A friend of mine has a beautiful R60/2 sidecar with the vanity plate "1963 SUV".

My father-in-law, who was a criminal defense attorney specializing in DUI defense, had the plate "DUIMONY". The criminal statute used to call the crime "Driving While Intoxicated", so his prior plate was "DWIMONY". When the statute changed, so did the license plate.

He was tickled pink when we gave him a personalized license plate frame to go with his personalized plate. The frame said "Reasonable Doubt For A Reasonable Price".

Of course, this was on a 1977 Porsche 911 Targa.

After he passed away, I pulled the rear plate and frame off his car and they now sit on the mantel in our family room as a memento of a great man.
