Hi all
I've had my "new" 2011 R1200RT for a couple of weeks, and I love ridiing it. I took the wife for a ride last weekend and she liked it too, after I turned the seat heater off. We were riding and she kept saying that the seat was getting hot, I forgot it has a seat heater, and finally it dawned on me so we stopped and found the switch and went on our way. It was a nice ride. I am from the Bartlesville area and there are some nice country roads to ride. Also, It's nice to not have my nose itch when I'm on the bike, my road king would vibrate and make my nose itch:)

Welcome to the Forum

Sportyford,

Welcome the the forum, I'm just down the road from you on Lake Eufaula. There are a couple of BMW clubs in and around Tulsa to include the newly formed BMW Riders of Oklahoma. They have a meeting this Saturday at 9:00am at Pops on Route 66 in Arcadia. You can check with Carita at the Tulsa BMW Dealership for more information.

There's also the Northeast Oklahoma Riders club which had their monthly meeting tonight (7/8) and meet once a month in east Tulsa.

If you ever find yourself in Southeastern Oklahoma or just need/want some pointers on area's to ride down this way give me a shout.

Enjoy the new ride!

Welcome, I'm in Moore and ride a 2012 RT. Ride on down to Pops Saturday and meet some other BMW riders. I'm retired and have been known to ride to Eureka Springs for lunch so let me know if you'd like to ride sometime.

Thanks for the welcomes and invites. I'm in Dallas for work this week so maybe will look into one of the clubs next month. Looking forward to meeting and riding.
