Hi everyone,
I purchased a 2023 BMW R 1250 GS 2 weeks ago due to my old motorcycle was rear ended while it was parked. I had always wanted a GS and the universe granted that for me. I honestly love it and cant stop riding it. Commuting is such a breeze now, love having cruise control. If anyone here lives in the bay area don't hesitate to reach out. I also plan on attending the BMW MOA national rally so if anyone is thinking of going, let me know. Have an awesome day and happy holidays!

Greetings Louie in NorCal from NorAL.

Sorry for the demise of your previous m/C; glad you're happy with your new Beemer! I know you think your big GSA can stand up to most anything, but the Law of Gross Tonnage states bad drivers are out to get you. So beware & be seen! I like to use Skene LED lights {front & back} which do tend to make U more noticeable. Just my 2 cents; worth every penny U spent. You'll see many providers of conspicuous LEDs on the MOA website and in your Owners' News! - Shop around... We want you to survive the San Fransisco concrete jungle. Loud Pipes may save some people, but Loud Lights won't piss everyone off as much. :brow

Welcome from central Florida. Enjoy that nice new ride. Quite a unique way of getting it! A wreck without injury is the best kind.

Greetings from Santa Rosa!

Maybe we'll catch up at some point. I visit Tomales Bakery fairly often, but have been riding the roads around here and over toward Calistoga more often these days.

Ride well and maybe we'll see you around.

Welcome from the East Bay-Walnut Creek to be more specific. Sorry about your old bike get to rear ended-hopefully you weren’t on it at the time. Enjoy your new ride.

FYI, I’m signed up to go to the National in Redmond and will most likely go up with a group from the Central California BMW Riders (CCBR).http://www.ccbr.org. Feel free to reach out to me if that sounds good to you.
