Hams at the Rally

I'm a relatively new ham radio operator (Technician Class) and wonder how many other hams will be at the rally. I'm especially interested in seeing how those of you with mobile rigs have mounted their gear on their motorcycle.

Sometimes I run APRS from the tankbag with a Kenwood HT. Antenna is a 5/8 wave whip mounted on the frame for one of the side cases.

Yes another ham there too....

I am a old ham - General Class - KF4LIU - I will be there on my 1982 R100RT from Jacksonville, Florida - leaving Monday - YIPPIE:dance

I'll be there and will try to listen on 146.52 for any activity. I plan to be running APRS (WD5G-13) if I can get everything setup for the trip.

We'll be there! My wife and I are General Class operators. We use a Yaesu HT's with Autocoms.

Wanna pick a common simplex frequency, say 143.43 to communicate at the rally?

I'll be there but leaving rig home. I use to run a 50w 2m on my bike, hardly ever used it, now I do have an HT that I can easily throw on my bike but rarely do.

Extra Class (NB4T) I will be there usually on 52 simplex then move as needed
