GSA fuel strip

I'm sure the info is here somewhere, I couldn't find it. Does a 2011 R12 GSA have a fuel strip or fuel float? Thanks

At the end of this thread, seems that the strip was used up to the 2013 models.

According to the MaxBMW parts fiche it has the fuel strip.

The new improved one is now available but too soon to tell.

Well that is certainly interesting. Here is what I saw:

But then further down the list it does also show a float option. Buried in the pump description is "to/from 8/10" so that seems to be the cut date which means the 2011 is a float. Thanks for catching that.

I think he was talking about the "R" model.
