GPS mount "retaining fixture" alternatives? 2007 R1200R

Recently picked up a Navigator V for the K1600GT, works great, and decided that I would get a 4 button cradle for the R1200R and just swap it from bike to bike, only to find out that the GPS mount/"retaining fixture" (bmw # 71607700742) is made of unobtainium. Anyone here find any alternatives to will work? I've seen some of the cheaper GPS mounts on ebay which look like they'd work, but also a chance of working really poorly. The ones that they used on GS's look really close, but I'm hesitant to buy one only to find out they aren't compatible. Thanks for your time.
