Does anyone have this? I am thinking about installing it onto my RT instead of having to use the dual controller on my jacket.

I have the controllers mounted on my left knee pad, just south of the left glove box. Without looking down, I can adjust the heat. Works for me. I toyed with maybe one day installing http://www.gerbing.com/acc/accprod.html#plug external power plugs to put onto the knee pad. But to be honest, the power wires are zipped tied and close to the knee pad, so it isn't an issue plugging them into the jacket/glove wires. Be careful to keep them in the off position unless you are riding; you might drain your battery otherwise.Does anyone have this? I would never buy a heat troller from Gerbings again.. I had to return 3 of them. This past year I mounted the Warm n' Safe heat-troller on my GS.
Works with my Gerbings jacket. Heat-trollers just oscillate the 12 volts power. Much better quality...

My side accesory outlet is powered by the heat-troller. I disconnect my side accessory outlet from the canbus and hook it up to the output of the heat troller. I then connect a BMW male plug onto the jacket's power cord.
The permanently mounted heat trollers just fail. Perhaps it's from riding in the rain.I just purchased to Cascade Extreme Jacket & Pants from Gerbings
Of course I purchased their controller to go with them.
What were your issues and what should I look out for?
