Documented Build of 1975 R75/6 into "S-Replica"

Great project and wonder write up, as well as bike, thanks for posting it. I only skimmed the article, but I will spend much more time reading it later. A friend of mine is doing an R100S right now that I hope to buy.

Wayne,

Thanks for looking. If you have questions or comments, you can post those on the web page for the project on my site or on the individual blog posts that the web page aggregates. My hope was this content would include knowledge and comments from others.

Best.
Brook.

Nice paint work. I have a R75/6 that I bought new and have all of the parts to make it look like a R90S. It looked like a "S" for 20 years, I have since changed it back to look like a roadster like when it was new.

I have the big tank, a OE "S" seat, fairing, front fender and duel disc. A replica yours is not, but a nice job never the less.

Yes, replica does mean "copy" rather than a blending of styles based on a theme, which is closer to what I was attempting
:).

You correctly point out this build did not use all the R90-S body parts and dual disk brake fork tubes with an R75/6 engine. True Dat. But, it does blend "S" model parts with an "S" paint scheme found on the R90-S/R100-S bikes. Perhaps "S-Retro" would be a better description?
