Do your Ilium rear crash bars contact and rub your swing arm?

I have a 2017 RT with Ilium crash bars on the back and on the left side of the swing arm there is a contact mark from the Ilium bar bracket. Several people have reported this, see the wethead thread https://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread.php?98185-17-R1200RT-Ilium-crash-bars-contact-rear-swing-arm

It occurred to me that previous model RT's might have the same problem. Just clean off your swingarm topside and look for a mark like this.
