Can I use a Sargent front seat with stock rear?

Hi. I just purchased a 2015 R1200RT and the previous owner kept the upgraded seat. I’m interested in a Sargent, but thy are so expensive. I have a couple questions:
- can I buy a Sargent front seat and leave the rear seat rock?
- My current seat is heated. Any issues with using a non-heated Sargent?

Yes, no problem. I've had a Sargent front and stock rear on my 2016 1200 RT since 2017.

Yes, you can, I have done it on the last four RTs I've owned (14,18,21,24 RTs) . All my Sargent seats have been non-heating. Sargent has a 30 day return policy so get one, put some miles on it and if you don't like it return it. I put 200K miles on the last one before purchasing a new one for my 24RT. Great seat for the price !
