BMW TFT Navigation/Connected App.

To all you gurus with R1250rt w/ TFT's, question on Nav. and voice commands. After getting used to TFT and Nav. am I correct that unless you are using BMW helmet communicators or compatible others, you are out of luck for receiving voice commands on headset? I am used to using bluetooth earbuds with my helmet due to previous problems with helmet mounted speakers when it comes to road noise. My cell phone nav. works fine with earbuds, but no dice with Nav. on TFT. Please advise. Thank you.
