Autolite plugs for my '98 RT

bp@sr9

#81822
Been using them for awhile, but alas,I've lost the proper gap width. had it written down somewhere(senior issue). plz advise. b:scratch

I never gave it much thought - OEM plug vs. Autolite. I've been using the Autolite 3923 plugs for many years in my R1100RT - first a 1996 now a 2001. I have been using the .031 gap and have had no problems or issues. The plugs come out a nice tan-brown and my bike runs great.

Concur. Autolite 3923 with gap at 0.031".

Typically one does not use a different gap from "recommended" unless the ignition system (specifically the coil) has been changed.
