Arizona in the winter

Spending the month of February in Arizona this winter. Will be staying just east of Phoenix and wondering what would be some good areas to ride? Thanks for the info!

I'd recommend heading South and checking out Tucson area especialy Catalina Highway up Mt. Lemmon. Might be cold ride at the top, but if no ice/snow is beautiful. Another ride I like is up Kitt Peak west of Tucson, and down towards Buenos Aires Wildlife Refuge and then back north thru Arivaca. Another is around Saguaro National Park. Can't go wrong heading south. Bisbee and Tombstone, Sonoita, Patagonia are all nice. I'm not a local but visit there and love it. I'm sure some locals can provide better suggestions.

Butler Maps has a great Arizona map that highlights a lot of good roads. Also Arizona Highways has a book Scenic Drives that you might want to check out.
