50 amp Alternator for 85K100rt

Okay Guys I know that I have not posted since 2020 when my 85 k100rt-EML side car was totaled. I had nothing to post about till I found another 85k100rt-EML sidecar that has need much "renovation". I have had as much joy working on it the last two years as riding it. I would like the possibility of added heated grips, a heated jacket and a head light on the car. So I would like to up grade to the 50 amp alternator. I was under the impression that any K bike alternator could be used. I ebayed a 98 BMW K12 60 amp. It looks like it would fit until I tried to fit it in. , the flange it too big. What 50 amp alternator can I put in my 85K100rt?

As far as I know, the 50A alternator from the later K75/1100 bikes will fit, but the connector is different. Early has a two-pin plug, later is a bolt-on ring terminal.
