Outsourcing seems to have worked out pretty well for BMW, particularly with the Loncin parallel twin engines and smaller 310 bikes from TVS. I’m guessing combined they made a significant contribution towards BMW’s record sales last year of over 200k bikes.
I’m also a little surprised Motorrad hasn't pushed the leasing route. 3/4 of new BMW cars are leased, why not bikes too?
